Joie de Vivre

I was invited to a "Crafternoon" Party hosted by a good friend Becky.
Only problem was...Becky lives in Florida and I live in Arizona.
At first, I'm thinking, okay...I'll fly first class..hey that's a long flight.

Another friend and I, who was also invited, talked it over,
we would love to go to Becky's gathering to create.
That way we would all finally meet.

But life is cruel, too many obligations and we had to tell Becky, next time.

Becky's gathering was no simple gathering...
someone special was going to be attending,
making me regret my decision daily.

I have never attended any gathering of talented women.
It is on my "wish list" and like finally getting to Paris, it will happen one day.

One day I received a package from Becky.
I could not believe my eyes!
Everything was so perfect, she had chosen specifically for me.

Prior to her crafting party,
Becky had purchased from my Etsy shop, a few items for this party
and I had sent her extras and goodies for her guests.
Never in my wildest dreams did I think she would thank me this way.
Anna Corba's new book had been next on my Amazon wish list.
How did she know?

Anna Corba is why I create.
She means everything to me.
She planted the seed that gave this gal direction.

My poor man had to look at this page over and over and over...lol
I could not believe my eyes...I still can't.

I think I'll go show him one more time...it's been awhile.

Merci Beacoup to the most incredible
gesture of friendship!
Becky - you made my summer, girlfriend!!

I'm seriously thinking of taking one of Anna's classes now!

Oh Rhonda,

How wonderful for you!!!!!!! I'm feeling you're excitement and it looks like a 'must have book' for us Franco's - I love everything Anna does too!!
Such a shame you couldn't go to Florida - you'll get there one day girl!

I know by experience what an exciting parcel you sent to Becky - you're such a generous friend!

Now I'm wondering if Mr ALBF is enthralled by the book too, you're so good to show it to him so often... should I expect a male version of your ALBF blog sometime soon to add to my list?????

Luv ya darling

Rhonda this is definitely worth another showing to your DH.
If anyone deserves this book it is you. What an incredible gesture of friendship.
I am such a fan of the lady herself pouring over the same books time and time again.
Know for sure that one day you will meet your dear friend Becky, will attend a special gathering of likeminded talented women and of course, visit Paris. It is all waiting for you.
Wishes
Lynne

Rhonda,

As one of your newest followers, I was excited to learn of Anna through your post. Now that I have gone and seen her website and looked at some of her books on Amazon, I can feel your pain at having missed your chance to meet her! But, you have such a lovely outlook, and because of that, I believe it WILL happen one day for you.

You cannot imagine the joy and happiness your blog has brought to me, and since I believe that the good you have done will come back to you, I know it will happen as well.

Enjoy your wonderful gift from Becky, and don't be too hard on your hubby. . . Lol!

Hi Rhonda,

Just read your lovely post and am delighted with your photos, as always. I am a fairly new follower and enjoy your blog so much. I live in Flagstaff. Maybe we can meet sometime when I visit the Valley. I wondered if you had any time to review any of the Anna Corba books that you have. I think I'd like to get one but don't know where to start.

Thanks,
Marrianna
