Sweet Scrap Stash

Often my work table looks like this,
with little stacks of what I call....stash.
When I cut up the copies of my French holy cards,
I save what I do not use.
These holy cards are so beautifully detailed,
it would be such a shame to throw away the left over pieces.
Some scrap pieces were so small, I placed them in this book box pendant.
Tarnished and aged, it's beautiful patina is just right.
These tiny scraps are perfect for jewelry making.
Here are a few of my newest pendants I made using such scraps.
Framed petite pendants that are
tarnished and aged.

Have a wonderful Sunday, everyone!
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Much love, Rhonda

These are very pretty, Rhonda! I even like the way they look stacked up and off to the side. I love being able to see things like this while I'm creating or just walking by.

Dear Rhonda, they are so beautiful in their little frames, looking so old, --I love the one with text!! in its purple ribbon. And the box you are hiding them inside, is totally wonderful tooo, with all the rust !
Your table filled with beautiful staches must be such a dream to have,--your art supplies are amazing, my sweet.

Beautiful new pieces Rhonda.
The little book box was probably originally used to hold a small pair of Rosary beads - I had one as a little girl!

How clever and resourceful you are, Rhonda, for creating such lovely little treasures with your "scraps"! And the bits you haven't used yet look so sweet stacked in little piles (and in the book pendant)!

Ohhh, this post is so beautiful! (as is everything you post!) I have to tell you, I feel the exact same way when I cut my French prayer cards. I save every little bit and piece of them. They are just too beautiful to throw away, even the teenie-est little scraps that are cut away from them. Have a great weekend creating more beautiful things!
