A Summer Blissful White Wednesday

Summer is around the corner
and summer is the reason I created my studio.
This past weekend I was able to create a few altered paperback books,
soon to be in my Etsy shop.
What better way to escape this heat.
I was pulling out all of my saved crocheted pieces for these books.
It was time to let them go...sniff sniff...a wiping of a tear...moving on...
I also painted a few wire racks from Jeanne d'Arc Living
A shabby white Jeanne d'Arc Living Rack
It seems rhinestone magnets go well with them.

More found crocheted pieces turned into this...
A newly created scapular book, tied up with ribbon.
I'd say I'm ready for the heat this year.
I have so many plans for projects that are lining up.
While pulling out some fabric, there was this bride veil
that I hung around my dress form.
Creating a soft and magical effect on light that was coming in the window.
It just makes me happy, doesn't take much.

  7. Just beautiful, Rhonda! Such a great idea to line up some projects for those in-the-house days. Love the altered books. You've really gave paperbacks a great new look! I have some of those crochet pieces that I bought at a yard sale. I haven't done anything with them {yet}, but I know they will be just the right touch to some project.

  20. Thank you Rhonda for your visit and I agree Fifi is the icing and the whole cake :)

I came home form our drive we live not to far from Santa Barbara and opend my cupboard to reach for one of your sweet stoneware bowls in your gifting to me to then fill it with coconut icecream and dream of my weekend while relaxing taking notes and inspiring myself from the vissions that were placed in front of us.

This home was a place you would only imagine in your dreams and my daughter told me with her words "it was so beautiful she wanted to cry" I am so glad she got my passion for life and living it artfully with collected pieces soulfully.

Thank you beautiful for adding your beauty to my home.
