Where Bloggers Create 2014

BONJOUR MES AMIES
Welcome to my studio
here at
A Little Bit French
If anyone ran out of time sprucing up their studio it, was me!
I did the best I could and I hope you enjoy this mini tour.
There have been some changes since last year.
I love finding vintage and antique pieces for my studio.
After reviewing all 150 photos I took,
I saw all of my faux pas....learning is so much fun.
As I shot each image,

I tried to relax this time round
I wanted to enjoy this experience
of sharing
what normally is a "messy" space
Because I like to display my collections
and have everything out,

that often means "no room on the table to create"
I've learned to only take out the supplies I need.
soothing treasures to inspire
Finding this pedestal table was a dream come true.
Thanks to the man of the house
for all of his hard work refinishing it for me.

 A freshly painted white desk
A lot of creating goes on in this space
a desktop vignette
 Gifts from worldwide friends

My wire basket of vintage French
The shabbier the better I say

This concludes the mini tour of my studio.
Thank you for stopping in.
I truly hope you enjoyed your visit.
A heartfelt thank you to
for throwing a fabulous blog party
that has changed my creative life.
Please be sure to visit all the wonderful creative spaces

Such a pretty room, Rhonda! You seem to have inspiration everywhere ~ it's no wonder you create such lovely things. I love your mannequin and that you have much of what you utilize out. I love that little lampshade, too. I just redid one that I am not happy with its outcome so I will be looking to see what I have to redo it.

Your studio is so beautiful in its all white palette. All the lovely framed religious images add such peace to your surroundings. I adore all your crowns. Your style is so Jeanne D'Arc Living...my favorite. I always feel a gentleness when visiting here.

Good morning Rhonda, mon amie!

I seem to get your blog posts (via email) the day AFTER your post, so forgive me for being, "EN RETARD!"

Rhonda, yesterday was such an exciting day for me to learn I won your generous giveaway, and now to come to see a better glimpse of your work space, your, ATELIER, it is a blessing. You enjoy many of the things I do as well, and I think I will put out "Pierrette", my mannequin, who I put away in the closet for a few months! Your santons and other French vintage finds are peaceful and perfect.

HUGS and many thanks for joining in this great tour! Anita

Rhonda,

I feel like it is our anniversary because I found you several years ago through this tour and have been following your progress loyally since. Your studio is beautiful, but it doesn't even begin to reflect the beauty of the work you do! You are SO talented and generous and I feel blessed to have "met" you. Thank you for sharing with all of us.

Gentle hugs,
Maureen

Rhonda, I am up so very late or very early, I have been painting my kitchen cabinets all day long, and when on a roll I did not want to leave my cabinets in the middle of my mess. Now that they will be ready for paint when I wake I can sleep better knowing the mess is all cleaned up.

I so hear what you are saying about all the art designs out as displays leaving little to no room to create, I am so like you, and yet it's those very displays that inspire out work.

Your studio where you create so spiritually and with a sense of calm is so inviting to stay and study every piece you have created. Your studio is truly showing us the part of you in how and why you create with such a lovely tone of purness :)

Well my dear you are now inspiring me to add some softer netting to my room of designing/ studio office.

Good morning my friends with all that it inspires from you.

Love your JDA style, magazine pictures here that inspire.

Xx
Dore

Rhonda,
What a little slice of Heaven your studio is!!!! Love your white, shabby chic decor. And what an awesome place to be inspired in! I wish my studio was a quarter as organized as yours! I definitely have outgrown my space and it seems to be creating a few organizing issues. But your space, my dear, is quite fabulous! Happy creating my friend!!!!
Christine

P.S. Love, love, love, that pedestal table!

Oh lovely, very light and soothing place. I noticed the large table you have, I have the same one and I just have to do the same to mind (white legs and raw wood on top, looks fantastic).

LOVE your studio area Rhonda - everything is gorgeous - I would be inspired to create here too!

It's so tidy and your room has wonderful natural light (though I know you often work at night too)!

Love your 2 mannequins and all the bling they carry - I'm drooling here!
The window frame with chicken wire hanging on the wall is a very clever display piece.
The quarter pane door is great - I would probably have lace and ribbons hanging - I need to see my stash to be inspired!

I did a double take when I saw a Paris collage and then recognised the french wedding card - it gave me a thrill to see you have a little of me on display!!!

I would love to have an afternoon creating français inspiré with you
dear Rhonda!

Hugs
Shane
