Gifts Between Friends

What tugs at our hearts is a mystery to me.
How simple gifts between friends
can add up to a whole lot of love, is a beauty in itself.
Last weekend I ran across some soft squares of folded cloth,
given to me by a good friend.
Because it reminded me of a book,
I created a petite book with pockets to hold your treasures.
Unfolding to reveal two more scapulars
Folding up to one small keepsake
Created with the help of a very sweet friend.

  1. Breathtaking, lovely little treasures you have created.

  2. So cute and tender! Thank you for inspiration!

  3. Dear Rhonda,

beyond beautiful and stunning! Just breathtakingly lovely!
    Many hugs,

Lovely to find inspiration when you have a rummage through your treasures.

I've always loved scapulars since I got my first as a little girl.

  6. Dear Rhonda,
yes little gifts from friends, truly touch the heart,- and what you created here also touch my heart, so very beautiful, and so serene with the white book and the beautiful old madonna images, on little "pillows".
Dear have you desited on a price for the gorgeous charm from a little time ago? I can`t find it in your shop yet.

  14. Those are just beautiful, and I have to say that they really do have a French-esque theme to them. I know for sure that my mother would absolutely adore them. http://fancychicandvintage.com/category_4/French-Gifts.htm

I hope you found some inspiration today.
