Flower Stylin'

In my mind, a French country home in France
is full of lavender and brightly colored flowers
I grab large bouquets of flowers at the market
and create smaller gatherings in petite vases
I love the smaller bouquets all over our home,
hoping their soft fragrance
will bring the summer days inside
And when the flowers have faded,
I switch to my favorite French diffuser

  2. Looks quite lovely my friend! Love that diffuser, I can only imagine the wonderful scent coming from it.
    Stay cool!

  3. Beautiful. Where do you purchase the diffuser? Love the colors and staging; gorgeous (as always).

  4. So pretty. Love all the beautiful colors .
I bet is smells so wonderful.

  5. Hi Rhonda, Bright colors in your home - who would have thought, LOL! They look beautiful. I had tried to decorate with only white flowers on the front porch in spring and found it so boring. It looked so much better after I had added several different shades of pink, blue and yellow :).

  6. Well, that was a surprise, lol. Your beautiful whites are a superb background for the bright flowers, really makes them pop. I do love the scent of lavender, so soothing and calming.

  7. Bonjour Rhonda!

Oh yes, the French homes I've been in really do bring in nature to the house, and flowers are a given. I too have my lavender bunches in a vintage wooden dough trough and I've enjoyed blue butterfly delphiniums this summer in a silver vase too! Your arrangements are BEAUTIFUL!!!

I'm back to the classroom on Monday. This week was full of meetings and I'm off to one right now! La Rentrée is an exciting time!

  10. These are beautiful Rhonda!
I can assure you french homes have beautiful gardens full of colourful flowers!
My daughter has a pitcher of flowers from the garden or what she has bought at the weekly market!
Lavender bushes everywhere as it grows so well in the hot dry conditions!
    Enjoy your weekend!

  11. Nothing more inspiring then the sunshine of flowers French kissing a French home :)
Oh how followers seam to invite the spirit in creating.

Rhonda, I have been noticing all the fresh cut flowers at all our farmers markets and I can not resist filling my French floral cans with them. While playing soft music and getting busy creating soulful pieces.

I will be listing my latest uniquely created rosary beads, later today.

Love that this colourfull post creates smiles.

I hope you found some inspiration today.
