Where Bloggers Create 2016 - A Room to Dream In

My studio started out as the 2nd guest room in our home,
which I quickly claimed as my space
Through the years of blogging
&
selling my handmade creations,
my studio has changed many many times
I truly believe a studio can be functioning,
as well as aesthetically pleasing at the same time
(this is the cleaned up version, trust me)
Drawn to neutral colors,
I've surrounded myself
with softer hues to work in
A wrought iron garden table makes it into the studio -
I constantly move furniture around in our home
Using what you have is thrifty!
I create at the round pedestal table
and
usually my laptop is on the garden table
My view from the garden bench
My sweet Sophie insisted on getting into the pictures
I am hoping to find a different desk and settee one day soon
The thrill of the hunt continues.....
When you collect as much as you sell, storage space is critical -
baskets, boxes and shelves are a must!
Keeping every corner styled in vintage
Blending collectibles with supplies for my shop
My home decor finds grows larger every month.....
so displaying decor in my studio is a must.
Rotating your decor saves money and you will always get to enjoy it again!
Thank goodness for this large wrought iron bakers rack!

The studio closet is organized with Ikea baskets & carts
that are filled with antique / vintage laces / supplies

The old shabby dresser is filled with antique French ephemera
I kid you not
My ever changing dresser top
The garden table sits in front of the window
and
allows great lighting for taking pictures
The shabby wall candle holder was
replaced with this gorgeous crown

My studio is where I find quiet mornings, inspiration
 &
now relaxation
I hope you've enjoyed your tour!
I hope you visit again soon!
