I Was Creative 2021

I guess we thought it would be gone

but

it isn't

We all ventured out a little more than in 2020

I've never ordered so much online

as in 2020 and 2021

I shipped out a LOT of kits

in order for you to keep your 

creative spirit alive

Truly, don't feel bad for hoarding

all of those supplies

THEY WILL come in handy

for sure!

Shop or no shop

I will always be creative

and

sharing

December Hope

I made the decision to close my web shop

I've been thinking about closing for some time now

The website that hosted my shop

was not meeting my expectations.

They did have fast customer service

&

wonderful help online with issues.

still....

I felt it was time to make a change.

I won't bore you with other factors

that made this decision easy.

If you are a seller on any platform,

you know that fees are going up everywhere.

The pressure to keep my online shop stocked

was keeping me busy & happy

If I can create a few pieces at a time,

then offer them for sale,

I hope to be happier!

I will keep creating

and

offering on Instagram

(under A Little Bit French)

a few items now & then

(until I find a new site)

Creative Mindset

When you've been creating as long as I have,

the ideas are always present,

knocking on your door

Sometimes I jot them down

but

most of the time

I go with the flow

Letting go of hidden treasures

Trying to only create with what I have

Being inspired by crafty genius women

Cutting that expensive French fabric

Special kits just for you

(see...I am letting go)

I miss a few of my creative friends,

some have moved on in life,

others say they've lost that creative spirit.

I am hoping that doesn't happen to me.

I still have a studio/craft room full of supplies!!
